Meme Your Scenario Workshop

Creating scenarios can be a tough process, but communicating them effectively to stakeholders can be tougher. Memes have now emerged as an accessible and powerful tool to convey complex ideas, and many organsiations and businesses have jumped on the bandwagon. Memes have been largely removed from academia due to the 'seriousness' of academia, but they possess great potential especially in anticipatory governance as the approach employs a great deal of creative practices. Unleash your creativity and join us in the Meme Your Scenario Workshop, where you will be posed with a fictional problem (involving zombies) to develop your scenario and meme making skills. 

This workshop will be facilitated by Seong-Young Her, a meme studies researcher at www.forum.memestudies.org. Seong has worked on research regarding media, culture and memes and runs a meme community named "The Philosopher's Meme". In addition to meme studies, Seong is pursuing game design in New Zealand.
